Prior to brightwheel, I've been extremely lucky to have seen a LOT in my 15 year journey in the tech industry. I was at 3 companies that had an IPO (Toast, Wayfair & Sensata), 1 that had a +$1B acquisition (Acquia) and 1 that rapidly grew to $100M in ARR, and rapidly closed their doors thereafter (InVision). Each run has offered incredible learnings and insights on what to do, and what not to do.
Some details on the numbers...
I helped Toast grow from $150M to $1.2B in ARR, with an IPO in 2021. Oversaw a multi functional team of +250. I helped InVision grow from $10M to $100M in ARR. Oversaw new business sales globally, and some other stuff. I helped Acquia grow from $10M to $120M in ARR. Cut my teeth as a seller, and ultimately owned global inside sales. I helped Wayfair grow from $250M to $600M in revenue, with an IPO in 2014. Worked on the BD/partnerships team. I worked at Sensata early in my career, but got to be a tiny part of their IPO in 2010.
Outside of my work as an operator, I'm also a Limited Partner at Stage 2 Capital, which is a VC backed by world class operators. In this role, I get the great pleasure of investing in, and advising early stage tech companies.
