Operator and investor with more than 25 years of leadership experience, specializing in mobile IT, security, telecommunications, IoT and AI in software-as-a-service (SaaS) business model.Chris was formerly President of Fiberlink, an Edison portfolio company that was sold to IBM in 2014. Operating in 25 countries, Fiberlink was a recognized leader in software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions for secure access, device, and content management. Following the sale of Fiberlink, Chris led IBM's mobile initiatives, was a member of the steering committee for IBM cloud and SaaS transformation, and evaluated M&A opportunities for selected targets at IBM.
Previous roles include CEO of Virtela Networks with a specific mission to turn around, re-cap, and scale the company in the tag switching, VPN global cloud space. The company was successfully sold to NTT. Chris was also the Vice President of Data Products and E-Solutions at Sprint Corporation. He speaks multiple languages and has lived and worked in Europe, China, Japan, Brazil, and various places in the USA. He is an active mentor to various entrepreneurs on the East Coast as well as an angel investor in seed start-ups.
