MY VALUE ADDI have 20+ years of B2B and B2C marketing and product management experience with tech companies. My background includes an early focus on programming languages and enterprise software development, which enhances my ability to build ground-up marketing infrastructures and implement the most effective IT marketing framework and automation tech stack.
MY MANAGEMENT PHILOSOPHY
When we work together, we succeed together. I believe in leading by example, getting down in the trenches, and being open to feedback. I inspire my teams to deliver because we share a goal, and we trust each other. While I hate to lose a team member, I love it when I’m able to help someone people move up or move on because it’s the best thing for them.
HOW I DRIVE EXCELLENCE
I’m always looking for ways to improve efficiency, cut costs, and grow revenue. With my tech background, I understand how to optimize and streamline technology investments to provide a more seamless experience for internal and external customers. I constantly analyze opportunities and results to develop campaigns and activities that boost ROI and grow market share.
WHERE I COME FROM
As a girl, I was taught that women were to stay in their lane (behind men) and that I had just two career choices, medicine or engineering. I chose engineering and was on my way to becoming a motors engineer when my husband and I decided to take a chance and immigrate to the United States for the promise of a better life. I was 23, and I spent the next decade unlearning a “woman’s place” and finding my place in this new world. As a result, I am passionate about coaching and mentoring young women and teaching them and my daughter that the possibilities for them are limited only to their imagination.
LOOKING FORWARD
In the 21st Century, selling is a technology-driven endeavor geared to increasingly sophisticated, tech-savvy customers. As marketing professionals, we are challenged to manage campaigns and programs across multiple channels and to continually identify and utilize new tools that improve service and operations. It’s demanding and invigorating, and one needs to be testing and learning constantly. I can’t imagine doing anything else with my life.
