Joerg Schille is an accomplished senior executive with over 20 years of global experience in commerce, payments, and fintech, working in Germany, China, India, the United States, and Canada.
As Vice President of Global Customer Success for PayPal, Joerg was managing an international team of 450 employees. Prior roles at PayPal include leadership across Mid-Market, SMB and Partnership segments. Before his time at PayPal, Joerg held several senior positions at eBay, Shopping.com, and Volkswagen. In his various executive roles, Schille has demonstrated a strong track record of building teams to execute against ambitious targets to drive growth, including:
• Closely partnered with Product Management to define and develop a customer centric payments solution for the German SMB market, and led the go to market and Sales efforts to become the second fastest ramp in the PayPal’s history.
• Transformed a reactive account management team into a proactive Customer Success organization, managing the company’s top 4000 enterprise customers across 40 countries.
• Built a channel partner organization from scratch, driving partner sales resulting in a 40% uplift in growth for the SMB segment.
Schille received his Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Technical University of Berlin. In addition, he has received a certificate from Columbia Business School in Developing and Leading High-Performance Teams, and the London Business School in Leading Businesses Into The Future.
Joerg is fluent in German and English, with a basic command of Mandarin. He and his family have traveled the world including month long road trips in South Africa, Australia, and the United States.
