Growth-oriented & cross-functional former founder with strong product skills , go-to-market expertise (B2B marketer of the year finalist, prolific speaker/influencer on content marketing) & management track record (hired 100+ employees, oversaw teams of 50), yet technical (specialization in machine learning & natural language processing, best MIT thesis award).
The Longer Version:
I am a lifelong builder who started coding when I was 9 years old and enjoy building things -- be it software, teams, companies or processes.
My love of engineering led me to MIT for my graduate and undergraduate degrees in computer science specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP) & machine learning (ML) where my thesis won both top international and departmental awards. Along the way, I also was at Microsoft and Google where I filed for patents in the areas of social networking and machine translation.
Most of my career has been as a founder & CEO at a content marketing technology startup Curata, where I scaled the company to 50 employees with over 1,000 customer deployments including 20% of the Fortune 100. Through my time at Curata, I became both very cross-functional but also skilled at marketing by selling to marketers (and was a finalist for B2B marketer of the Year and #8 of 100 content marketing influencers).
Over the past few years, I have been a product leader in high growth startups such as Scale AI and Domino Data Lab, leading new initiatives on highly technical AI products.
And on the side, I’ve had the good fortune of being an angel investor in multiple successful startups such as Toast, Upside Foods, and LinkSquares.
