Why?
I'm passionate about building, coaching, & leading high performance GTM teams. Today I oversee a friggin' awesome team of sales, customer success, business development, marketing, and business operations leaders.
I didn't take a traditional route into software sales or becoming an executive. I've worn a few hats as an engineer, product marketer, program manager, and sales manager. I have a down-to-earth leadership style and get sh*t done work ethic. And, most importantly, it's all about the customer experience and making customers successful.
In 3rd grade, I started selling Rubik's cubes to my classmates, ran a newspaper bike route until high school, and sold "double-D edge" knives in college. I enjoy fast-paced and entrepreneurial environments.
I've always been in the digital and software space. As I date myself, I've learned and used technology from my TRS-80 (grade school), 8086 (middle school-Basic), Prime (high school-PASCAL), Sun Sparc20 (college-C/FORTRAN) to the Cloud (Today-Python/SQL).
Technical experience : enterprise solutions, data analytics, machine learning (beginner level), 5 cloud developer/engineering certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP), & other real-world l33t stuff. I hold a BS in computer engineering and an MBA which helps provide a unique perspective to solving business problems using technology.
And, finally, I've been an angel and early investor in a few startups like Hyperice, Skyryse, & Vectara.
