I am an experienced senior executive with 25+ years of global business, corporate, consulting, and general management experiences in diverse and complex business and cultural contexts, and a track record of delivering profitable growth, executing challenging projects, and building high performing teams.

I am currently the CEO and a Board Member of StatLab Medical Products, a developer and manufacturer of diagnostic supplies serving the anatomical pathology industry, with operations in the U.S. and Europe. StatLab is a private equity portfolio company owned by Audax Private Equity and Linden Capital Partners, which acquired StatLab at the end of 2020.

Prior to StatLab, I led Thermo Fisher’s multi-billion dollar global Laboratory Products Division including lab equipment, plastic consumables and service, and my prior roles at Thermo Fisher include multiple VP/GM roles in both product and services businesses and VP Corporate Strategy, with a leading role in the acquisition and integration of the $16B Life Technologies deal. I am a former Principal with Bain & Company having spent over a decade as a management consultant across four continents and multiple industries and functions.

A fierce advocate for Asian-American professional development, I was the global executive sponsor of Thermo Fisher's Asian and Pacific Islander Business Resource Group (49 API Voices) and serve as an Advisor to the Boston Chapter of the Council of Korean Americans and as a Senior Advisory Board Member of AsianUpward. I am also a board member of the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra and an advisory board member of the Harvard Extension School’s Business and Management Programs, and an active member of the MIT Sloan Alumni Association and Highrock Metrowest Church.

I graduated from the MIT Sloan School of Management's MBA program as the Henry Ford II Scholar, and hold honors bachelor degrees in law and finance from the University of Melbourne. I have lived substantial periods of my life in the USA, Australia, and South Korea, and am fluent in English and Korean.
