Bob is the Chief Business Officer at Duolingo. He joined Duolingo in 2016 to lead monetization, which grew from <$1M to hundreds of millions in annual revenue and a successful IPO.

During his time at the company he's led / managed Monetization, Strategy & Business Operations, Partnerships, M&A, Assessment Science, and Original Content, expansion to new subjects like Math and Music, and the Duolingo English Test.

Previously, Bob spent 8 years with Google, as the Head of Games Business Development for Google Play, and as a Principal in the New Business Development group.
