Colin joined Zendesk in 2025 as Chief Customer Officer. He is a change-driven, customer focused operating executive with 20+ years’ experience delivering value across different businesses and roles — across go-to-customer, portfolio and product/R&D, business operations, and corporate strategy.Capability highlights include:
• Transformation agent with an ability to deliver value at scale - in both large scale operational leadership roles or as a high leverage influencer (e.g., chief of staff, management consultant)
• Operational athlete, with range of leadership roles across multiple functions, firms (public and private equity-owned) and verticals (e.g., enterprise software, industrials), w/ track record of value creation through top and bottom line performance acceleration
• Proven P&L owner ($150m+) and customer-centric general manager of scaled global organizations and segments
GO-TO-CUSTOMER / GENERAL MANAGEMENT
Colin was previously Chief Customer Officer at KKR-owned BMC Software. In addition to running a global professional services P&L, Colin was responsible for driving gross (GRR) and net revenue retention (NRR) of BMC’s business.
At Integral Ad Science (previously Vista Equity), Colin led the transformation of regionally-based account management teams into a global organization delivering NRR across the global client base. There, the team achieved above plan gross and net revenue retention gains.
At CA Technologies, Colin led a $100M standalone cybersecurity software segment, achieving 15% growth and 35% operating margins all while positioning for Gartner MQ leadership for the first time ever.
TOP & BOTTOM-LINE ACCELERATION
Colin joined BMC as Chief of Staff to the CEO, re-established the Corporate Initiatives function and quickly launched the company’s first global Customer Success Management function.
Colin was SVP Business Operations at CA Technologies — charged with re-defining the operating model and reallocating investment across a $4B software portfolio.
At Boeing, Colin established the Commercial team for a high-growth services business — securing $500M+ in new orders with global airline customers in the Middle East, Europe and Asia Pacific.
STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT & EXECUTION
As both a management consultant (Deloitte, Oliver Wyman) and corporate strategy leader (Boeing, CA Tech, Unisys Corporation), Colin led strategy and M&A/JV execution. Colin’s client roster included Fortune 500 firms across multiple verticals, including enterprise software, industrials, automotive, fin service and sovereign wealth/private equity.
